Our detailed set of rules ensures the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests, including those with pets.
One important feature of our cottage is the fully fenced grass garden. This secure space allows your pets to play freely while ensuring their safety throughout your stay. To make things more convenient for pet owners, we advise guests to bring their own pet essentials such as eating/drinking bowls and bedding. However, please note that if your dogs are not accustomed to horses, it is advisable not to allow them to continuously bark at them, as we have horses around the cottage from time to time.
We also have clear rules in place for pet safety. Pets must be kept on a lead when outside the property and must respect the personal space of other animals. Additionally, leash rules must be adhered to when walking outside the cottage perimeter. To maintain a harmonious atmosphere for all guests, we only allow a maximum of 2 pets per booking. Pets are not permitted on furniture or beds, should not be left unattended, and disturbances like excessive barking should be curbed. Cost per dog per stay amounts to R250 per dog.
Promoting cleanliness and consideration for others is important to us. Therefore, guests are kindly requested to clean up after their pets both in the garden and during walks. If you have booked cottage servicing with the host, please ensure that your pets are under control during these times.
Regarding liability and damages caused by pets, we provide clear information about potential charges. Guests agree to indemnify and hold Crooked Cottage harmless from any liability related to their pets.
